Singapore Workshop on Data Science and Machine Learning in Healthcare and Medicine
The emergence of appropriate hardware, fast algorithms for big data and deep learning paradigm has accelerated the applications of machine learning in healthcare and medicine. With deep neural networks surpassing the performance of clinicians in some diagnosis cases, machine learning is positioned to have a major role in diagnostics, prognosis, and risk management, etc. Digital revolution in patient management is inevitable. The event brings together researchers in data science and machine learning and clinicians to discuss cutting edge application research in medical world, with an emphasis on medical data integration and analyses, auto-diagnosis and clinical patient care. Our unique mix of academia and practitioners enables the participants to meet with data science and machine learning at the forefront of research, as well as real-world case studies to discover the business value of data science and machine learning.
The program of the workshop includes both invited lectures and contributed talks. Topics of interest include:
- Business intelligence
- Clinical medicine
- Clinical patient care
- Crypto data and privacy
- eHealth Records
- Medical imaging and diagnostics
- Personalised care and medicine
- Risk management
- Text analytics for drug safety and health data
The workshop will hold the first edition on 27 January 2023.
